Camping

Well were going to look at a camper tonight. I guess I'm ok with it. I still want to go to Disney more than anything, but I'm warming to the camper idea.

It's not going to rain today, yay! Maybe I'll get to ship the kiddos outside to play all day. They've been cooped up too long and are beginning to get on my nerves and fight with each other.

Last night was the mother/daughter banquet at church. The food was wonderful! The speaker was ok, she was kinda long winded and repeated alot of what she was saying. My mother kept falling asleep, I kept nudging her to keep her up. Oh well it was nice overall.

I would love to know if anyone has read my blog. Please comment if you have. I know I'm not an accomplished writer, but I will come up with a lot to say, eventually. I have a crazy life!

Happy Mother's Day

Well it was mother's day weekend! Friday we dropped 10yo off at boy scout spring camporee. He ended up crying because some other boys were giving him a hard time. I made him stay and he did have a good time Saturday. Saturday the rest of us went to Cracker Barell and shopping. DH bought a new kayak for himself and he and the neighbor "tried" to use it on the river. It was way to choppy! Sunday were were supposed to go to Laurel Hill to kayak, however the weather didn't cooperate. I told dh I was going to just going to sit in bed and pout! Then we decided that we would go to Ohiopyle and hike. We hiked for about 4 miles and then had a picnic. It was wonderful. We came home to find that our power had been out all day. So we went to visit parents for the evening. Tonight 6yo girl, my mother and I are going to the Mother/daughter banquet at church. It was a good mother's day!

We are thinking about skipping Disney this year to buy a camper. I'm not sure how I feel about this. We are looking at camper tomorrow. I guess we will take a family vote on it and decide. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Hey, so this is it, my first time blogging. I guess I'll start by telling you about myself. I an 34yo and I have 4 kids, all with the initials dkp. I have a 10yo boy, an 8 yo boy, a 6yo girl, and a 4yo boy. I homeschool, teach sunday school, lead youth group at church, I take karate and a little bit of everything else. My husband and I have been married for almost 16 years(June).

The reason for this blog is, well basically I thought it would be fun! The name came about because my 8yo can's tell me anything without saying "can I tell you something?". It absolutely drives me crazy! I hope to let you in on the things I love, hate and make me bonkers. I babble a little so bare with me.
